

Cancellation and Payment Policy — K9 Compass

Notice required
Clients must give a minimum of 12 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any booked service (walk, training session, transport or appointment). -
Late cancellations and no‑shows
Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled start time, and all no‑shows, are subject to the full service charge. -
Payment terms
All cancellation fees are payable within 7 days of the invoice date. Outstanding invoices may incur recovery action. -
Non‑payment and blacklist
If a cancellation fee or other outstanding balance is not paid within 14 days of the invoice date, the client account will be marked as suspended and the client may be blacklisted from booking further services until the debt is settled. K9 Compass reserves the right to instruct a debt‑recovery agency or pursue legal recovery for unpaid sums; any costs reasonably incurred in that process will be added to the outstanding balance. -
How to cancel or reschedule
Cancellations and reschedules must be submitted by one of the following methods and will be effective when acknowledged by K9 Compass:-
Email to our bookings address; or

Phone call or SMS to our bookings number.
If you do not receive an acknowledgement within a reasonable time, assume the booking remains active and contact us again.

Exceptional circumstances
Requests for waiver or reduction of cancellation fees due to exceptional or emergency circumstances will be considered at K9 Compass’s discretion and may require evidence. Compassionate consideration does not create a contractual obligation to waive fees. -
Late payment consequences
While an account is suspended for non‑payment, future bookings will be declined. Reinstatement requires full settlement of outstanding amounts and may be subject to prepayment for subsequent services. -
Amendments to this policy
K9 Compass may update this policy from time to time; the version published on our website or provided in writing with your booking confirmation is the operative version. -
Acceptance
By booking any K9 Compass service you accept and agree to abide by this Cancellation and Payment Policy.
